Campagna Romana brand
To protect, promote and enhance the quality of the gastronomic products which are typical of Rome and its province: these are the objectives for which the collective brand (The products of the Roman Countryside) was created.  This enables consumers to verify, at the level of both small and large scale distribution, the freshness and genuineness of the food they are about to purchase. Further, it helps them to recognize the methods of production and guarantees a precise system of control and certification: in other words, it helps to identify the product in all its commercial stages. It also distinguishes the products that are truly Roman, in other words those that have been served to Popes and Emperors for centuries.
"I prodotti della Campagna Romana" today is present at all gastronomic fairs and events both on Roman territory and at a national and international level. This initiative has been promoted by a Consortium composed of the Azienda Romana Mercati (Roman Markets association), the CCIAA, all the principal companies and organizations of the production sectors concerned (agricultural, crafts, and industrial) including CNA, Confcommmercio, Confesercenti, Confcooperative, Confartigianato, Cisa/Lega Coop, Coldiretti, Cia and Federlazio/Confapi. The Campagna Romana events involve many other bodies which include the Latium Region and Province of Rome.
