The Cerveteri winemaking firm is a co-operative founded in 1960, consisting in 750 wine-producing families who all confer different kinds of grapes: Trebbiano, Malvasia, Chardonnay for white wines and Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Merlot for red wines. Its production plants are in the area between Cerveteri, Ladispoli, Bracciano to the south, Tarquinia, Montalto di Castro to the north and the Tolfa mountains to the east. The co-operative has two seats, one in Cerveteri and the other in Tarquinia: both have shops which are open year-round (the one in Cerveteri is also open on Sunday mornings).
