Fishing in Lake Bracciano

Share

This walk is part of the area: La Via Claudia Braccianese

The crystal clear waters of Lake Bracciano are ideal for fishing: carp fishing, spinning, and English fishing with 20 gramme floats.
The latter is an interesting technique used to catch carps and chubs.

How to get there: take via Cassia bis and exit at Cesano. Head towards Anguillara, then towards Vigna di Valle to reach the lake’s shores

Rules: a fishing license is necessary

Fish: pikes, carps, chubs, eels, zatterino (a local fish) and royal perches
