The Camponeschi farm, set on the slopes of the Colli Lanuvini, is close to the Archaeological Park of the Appian Way and is 15 hectares large, all of which are cultivated with modern techniques. The volcanic nature of the soil and the particular location of the vineyards, which produce a maximum of 100 quintals per hectare, are the fundamental elements for the making of the farm’s wines. Grapes are harvested early and exclusively by hand and are pressed softly with the aim of obtaining a return of not more than 65 %; subsequently, fermentation is carried out at a low temperature on the limpid must. The bottling and other phases, such as making the wine sparkling, are carried out by the farm according to the rules of the most modern winemaking technology. The farm offers customers an ample selection of products with guided wine-tasting sessions available in English and French, particularly of: Colli Lanuvini Doc Superiore and Colli Lanuvini Doc, Igt Lazio Rosso Carato and Igt Lazio Bianco Carato, Spumante classical Brut and Igt Lazio Rosso Reppo. The farm also organises “lunches at the farmhouse” in its ample rooms, when visitors can sample typical local dishes, prepared with genuine products and accompanied by traditional regional music
