This firm, founded in 1862, is family-run and, although it spreads over an area which falls into the DOC producing areas of Frascati, Marino and Colli Albani, it carries out precise quality choices, characterised by experimentation. In 60 years, in fact, it has recovered 45 typical autochthonous varieties of vines and, to enhance its production, 2001 was characterised by only i.g.t. ( Typical Geographic Area) wines, as the owners wanted to produce a one-vine wine and renounced the grape blends set out in rules and regulations. The “historic” wine cellar is in Marino: this is well suited for samplings, as it can seat up to 20 people. This is where visits start, accompanied by guides who speak English, French and Spanish.
