Anchovies with endive

500 g small anchovies
1 kg endive
1 clove of garlic
100 decilitre extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper

Sauté the endive in a pan, after having boiled it in salty water and dried it carefully.
Cover the bottom of a baking-tin with half the endive and place the anchovies on top, (already salted and peppered). Cover with the remaining endive and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
