Broccoli with garlic and chilli pepper (Strascicati)

1 kg broccoli rabes
1 garlic clove
extra virgin olive oil
salt

Clean the broccoli rabes select the most tender part. Heat four tablespoons of oil in a pan and cook the raw broccoli rabes with a clove of garlic. Cover and cook slowly, stirring gently from time to time, for about 40 minutes. Serve hot.
