The Tenuta Biologica I Due Laghi has an ICEA certificate. It spreads over 120 hectares between the Bracciano and Martignano lakes, within the namesake Regional Park. 400 animals graze freely, including Maremma and Charolais cows, sheep, horses, and 200 Maltese-Sicilian goats. All animals graze on the farm’s pasture land. Sheep and goats have a semi-fixed stabulation, and, together with the farm’s dairy, are in the Tenuta’s lands. The dairy produces a line of organic goat cheeses such as ricotta, primo fiore, santa caterina, spiced cheeses and amaltea cheese. The cheeses are fresh and semi-fresh, and, as they are organic and made from goats, they are unique in the Latium region. They are completely traceable and their production line is extremely short, 0 kms. The Tenuta Country Relais I Due Laghi **** has 24 rooms and 7 suites, as well as the La Posta de’ Cavalieri restaurant, which is open to external guests too, and serves a local cuisine. The horse-riding club: www.iduelaghidraghunt.it (The I Due Laghi’s Sports Association) is the only one in the whole of Italy to have been approved by the prestigious British Horse Society (BHS). Horses are available for riding both by members and hotel guests, with one’s own riding boots, jodhpurs, cap or helmet. Only British saddles are mounted. From October to May, on Saturdays, simulated fox hunt (Drag Hunt). A Health Centre with various kinds of massages, including shiatsu, ayurvedic and Californian, as well as different cardio-fitness machines, is available. The open-air swimming pool, measuring 25 m x 12.5 m, is open from 1 June to 30 September
