The portal of the Rome Chamber of Commerce for agritourism and the local area
This wine-producing firm, in the heart of the Zagarolo DOC producing area, occupies a scenic position. It consists in a 19th farmhouse built on top of the ruins of an ancient Roman building, and an 18-metre deep cave dug in tuff. DOC Zagarolo wine can be tasted in the sampling hall, as well as the classically-made spumante (sparkling wine), the full-bodied red Lazio IGT, and the passito wine. The farm sells its own products, and offers visits, prior telephone bookings.
